LCES Curriculum Overviews
The following documents are grade-specific overviews of what will be taught in each grade. They were created with the goal of establishing a document that would clearly articulate the curriculum in each grade.
Each page within the document outlines one curriculum area and contain three important elements:
- the guiding, and distinctly Christian, perspective (specific to that curriculum area),
- the specific objectives that will be taught in that area,
- a monthly unit overview.
These documents were created in consultation with the Ontario Ministry of Education document standards. We continually seek to maintain high academic standards, to meet the needs of all students and to provide Christian education.
