Our Study Skills Handbook
Homework requires good habits. Daily working through each day’s assignments during the day and night will enable you to succeed in your school subjects. You want to do your best. The Study Skills Handbook is designed to help you at school and as you continue your work at home. It includes tips on taking notes, making outlines, doing research papers, organizing your work-space, good study skills, methods of studying, and how to write a test. As students learn these skills, they become better prepared for their future education. It is our hope that through this handbook, students gain these important skills.
Agendas also assist students in their organization, managing time and keeping up with homework. This handbook is available to each student in grades 5-8. Agendas are currently mandatory for students in Grades 6-8, but will soon be available for students in Grades 3-8 as well.
